We Care About People’s Health!

Medical debt burdens millions in the U.S., preventing access to healthcare and deepening inequality. As youth and young adults, our students take an active part in erasing medical debt and raising awareness of the issue among their peers.


Who Should Join the Community?  

You should join the Students in Action community if you are:  

  • A student interested in the healthcare space
  • Eager to learn about healthcare issues and the medical debt landscape 
  • Passionate about addressing the harmful effects of medical debt in this country   
  • Excited to collaborate with other dedicated students to make a direct impact on the lives of thousands of individuals

in medical debt abolished for over 30,000 individuals and families through student fundraising campaigns since 2014. Through peer networking and educational sessions, we empower students to eliminate burdensome medical debt for individuals across the country!

are represented by our current Students in Action community. The issue of medical debt is a growing issue for young people, no matter where they call home.
